SilentAPI ("us", "we", or "our") operates the SilentAPI service (the "Service"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service. Our fundamental principle is to collect only the minimum information necessary to provide our service, and to provide you with control over that information.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the data needed to run the Service.

• Account Information: To create an account, we require a username. You may optionally provide an email address for account recovery. We also store your hashed password, hashed API keys, a unique account ID used internally for account/session/key ownership, and the account creation date. We do not log or store the IP address used for account creation.
• Usage and Billing Records: These records hold counts and credits per service per hour. We do not log IP addresses with API requests. These records do not contain your prompts or outputs. You can turn off usage monitoring and billing monitoring in [ Settings ]. When you turn off a setting, we delete its history.

2. How We Use Information

The limited information we collect is used exclusively for the following purposes:

• To Provide and Maintain the Service: Your account information is used to authenticate you and provide access to the platform.
• For Billing and Monitoring: If you have metrics enabled, this data is used to calculate your usage and display it on your dashboard.

We do not use any user monitoring, behavior tracking, or analytics tools of any kind.

3. Third-Party Services and Data Sharing

• Authentication Infrastructure: Account authentication, session management, and password recovery are handled by our own backend systems. Passwords are stored using strong one-way hashing and sessions are managed with secure authentication controls.
• Network Protection: Our website and API use a network provider for DDoS protection. That provider can process basic network data, such as IP addresses, to block attacks. SilentAPI does not store this data.
• Payments: We do not log payment transactions. Payments made through NowPayments and Cryptomus have a randomly generated code that is deleted once payment is complete, so your crypto wallet can't be tied to the profile. We keep the package, credit amount and date so your balance history stays correct.
• API Proxying: SilentAPI forwards requests to model or service providers without account identifiers or IP addresses. We do not store request data in our own systems or with any third party. We send each request to the provider only so that it can return the response. The provider has its own systems and policies, which are not under our direct control. See Section 7 for service types and privacy labels.
• Provider Safeguards: We never use a route whose provider explicitly states that it trains on customer data, and we request that no data is used for training on every route.

4. Cookies

We do not use cookies for analytics or advertising. The only cookies used on our service are essential security and authentication session cookies. We may also store non-sensitive interface preferences (such as default model selection) in your browser local storage so your settings persist between visits and to minimize any type of potentially sensitive data stored on our servers.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We believe you should have full control over your data. When you make a change to your account (such as updating your username or email), we only store the current information; we do not retain a history of past data. This means we cannot revert changes or assist in recovery due to user error.

We do not keep your prompts or outputs for normal API calls. To improve performance, we may cache lookup results for a short time. Cached entries are stored under keyed hashes instead of the original values and are deleted automatically within 24 hours.

If you delete your account, we remove it from the primary systems almost immediately. This action is permanent. You cannot recover the account through the application. Database history and encrypted backups can keep deleted account data until they expire. We keep them for up to 30 days.

6. Data Security

SilentAPI stores account data and backups on servers in the European Union. We handle account data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Backups are encrypted. No online service is 100% secure. We cannot promise absolute security.

7. API Services and Data Handling

The [ Services ] page shows the privacy label of each model.

Services that SilentAPI runs

SilentAPI runs these services itself: media tools, OCR, IP lookup, email lookup and crypto price.

• Media Tools: We process files sent for image compression, image conversion, metadata removal and OCR in memory. We do not store these files.
• IP Lookups: SilentAPI answers IP lookups from its own data sets.
• Email Lookups: SilentAPI uses its own lists and DNS checks. We may use a third-party check for unknown domains.

Some lookup data comes from open data sets. See [ Licenses ].

Services that use a provider

SilentAPI forwards the request to a model or service provider. We do not send your account identifiers or IP address. Mistral OCR and Mistral Moderation send content to Mistral under its terms. Google Cloud Vision sends the image to Google.

• End-to-end ZDR: SilentAPI does not keep your prompts or outputs. The provider route has zero data retention.
• SilentAPI protected: SilentAPI does not keep your prompts or outputs. The provider may keep logs under its own terms.

Illegal Content

Illegal content, including child sexual abuse material, is not allowed. We will close accounts that violate the [ Terms of Service ].

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may change this Privacy Policy at any time without warning or direct notification. Changes are announced in our update logs, and you are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
